Zhu Ziqing was a well-known prose writer, educationalist, poet, scholar and an advocator of democracy in China . His former residence is located at No. 27 Anle Lane , Central Wenchang Road . It is a key historic and cultural site under state protection, and also a patriotism education base in Jiangsu province. As was praised by Jiang Zemin, former president of China , “The integrity of Mr. Zhu prevailed in his lifetime; the verses he selected and explained inspire generations to come.” |
